Snooping. [Open]

Curiosity usually got the best of Oracle, as much as she pretended that she was happy up in the mountains, she always wondered what a town was really like. She hadn’t been in one for hundreds of years, and a small part of her longed to be among people again.

She had devised a plan to sneak into the town at night while the residents were asleep, convincing herself the trip would be solely for research purposes. Grinning, she slung a small pouch over her shoulder to collect any finds, and headed out the giant doors of her mountain home. Making her way down the mountain side was easy, as she had navigated through it so many times before. The small Oracle took off in a random direction not sure where her destination was, she could always find her way home using the stars.

She had no idea how long she had been walking, but eventually she came across a town that seemed suitable. She bounded forwards, heading towards the clearing where she could see the town lights. Suddenly, she felt a tug and she was pulled back by one of the trees. Her pouch had become tangled in one of the branched of the trees! She struggled for a few moments, trying to free herself, but it was no use. She was stuck.

Collecting

She had been pacing back and forth all morning, she always got like this when it was that time. She was an almighty alchemist, who feared nothing! So why did the idea of having to walk into a town for ingredients make her stomach churn with anxiousness?

The small hermit made her way to the door, putting on a cloak to cover herself. She knew her appearance was different, so why draw attention to herself? Humans still wore cloaks, right? Oh goddess, she hoped so. She took her first steps outside clutching the woven basket so tightly her knuckles were white in colour. She could do this, she would just walk quickly in, buy what she needed and leave. Taking one deep breath, she went on her way, heading for the town in the distance.
